About

Hi I'm Isaac! I love all kinds of music. I have always been fascinated by the depth of music, both in its ability to manifest in so many genres and styles and also in the many layers that make it up. That's why I have pursued not only playing music, but composing, recording and mixing as well. I believe that there is so much potential in music, and that we can learn a lot by exploring all of its different aspects.

Education

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Music degree in Percussion Performance. I studied under Dr. Jeffrey Crowell and performed with many different groups and ensembles both in and outside of school. I also took classes in composition, electronic music, recording, mixing, and mastering. I had an internship in recording and mixing, and worked as an Audio Technician at the Pablo at the Confluence. I also attended the Recording Workshop in Chilicothe, Ohio, where I received both the CORE and ADVANCED certificates.

Other Interests

I have an ardent love for the outdoors. When I'm not making music, you can find me hiking, exploring, backpacking, camping, or doing a little parkour on the side as well. If it involves adventure, I’m in! :) One other main way my time is spent is in reading. I love reading and have spent many happy hours lost in a good book.
